I am very glad and proud to anounce, that the recording process of Bluespam's debut album "What is Mojo" has been finished! We thank Wolfgang from the Fox-Studios very much for his effort. The Album will be released very shortly and consists for the most part of songs that I wrote. And here comes a little appetizer:

In august last year I also had the honor to contribute some guitar parts to the new solo album of the charismatic english singer and songwriter Andy Jones. The album "Unspoken" is now available.

Update:March 20th 2016

Unfortunatly, after half a year of being the drummer of bluespam, Joel Purkess had to leave us. But we were lucky enough to have found a great substutute rather quickly this time in Wilfried "Ciss" Poetter. At the moment we are working on our first album, which should be released around end of 2016.

Michael Witte&Band are nominated in two categories for the German Rock&Pop Price: "Du kriegst mich nur lebend" for the best Song with german lyrics and Michael Witte for the best Singer-Songwriter.
The awards show will take place on December 12th in the "Kongresszentrum Siegerlandhalle" in Siegen, Germany

Update: August 27th 2015

Bluespam is now complete again! Our new fantastic drummer is Joel Purkess, a guy from Canada, now living in Holland, known for his work with Mason Rack.


Nevertheless, our thoughts are still with Mike, so here is a video of our interpretation of Crossroads(produced by Arnaldo Lopez), which we had the chance to record together last year.

Update: February 13th 2015

I am happy to announce that i will be joining the german hard rock band Ferryman for their UK-tour in march/april as well as some other gigs in germany and the netherlands. Chek out the tour dates:



I also have two gigs sceduled with bluespam. At the moment we are working with several drummers and hoping to find a constant replacement for Mike.

Just a few month before Mikes death we had the privilege of recording some songs in the studio together. Now i have finally decided to release one of them. This is our version of the Robert Johnsons's "Crossroads":

Update: June 7th 2014

Last week, may the 30th of 2014, i received the awful message, that Mike Bosch, the drummer of our band bluespam had suddenly passed away at the age of 37. For the passed 7 years he was not only a great and reliable drummer but also a good friend to me. I am very thankful for the time we had together and i am going to miss him very much.

October the 30th I am going to participate at a concert DVD-recording with Michael Witte&Band, which will also be broadcast at the german TV-channel nrwision!

November 11th I am going to be playing with my band Bluespam as a support act for Tommy Schneller

Update: 31 Dec 2012

I am proud to announce that the new CD of Michael Witte to which I contributed the guitar parts is ready and will be released on the 15th of february 2013. The release concert will take place on 16th february in Osnabrueck, Germany. I wish everybody a succesful new year 2013!

The recordings of the new Michael Witte album are almost done, a lot of great guest musicians participated, and now comes the mixing and the mastering, so that the CD can hopefully be released till the end of the year 2012!

There are new Videos from a gig with the dutch band Band "Dirty Dime", here is for instance a version of "Little Wing" in this constellation, enjoy!

Last week I came back from Sweden, where I participated at the "Freak Guitar Camp" held by Mattias IA Eklundh. It was a great experience and I really learned a lot!
I would like to thank Mattias, Christian, Fifi, Jorgen and everybody else who made it possible! And nice greetings to other "campers" all around the world, hope to see you again next year!
